Peder’s stable:
The barn is with its 583 DE the largest environmental permit made in Aarhus municipality to date. Approximately 5,000 m2 have been built, including a feed store and a large delivery area for 2 loads of pigs, as well as staff facilities. In addition, the barn contains:
– 4,970 places for an annual production of 20,000 slaughter pigs.
– Hybrid ventilation (natural ventilation in combination with multipoint floor extraction) together with high-pressure cooling ensures optimal barn climate).
– Wide aisles ensure quick handling when pigs are handed over.
– Slurry cooling provides the heat in the barn, underfloor heating and space heating.
– Air cleaning with Agri AirClean reduces the environmental impact of the barn and secures Peder’s future possibilities to expand production in the future.
– Large feed tray with cover for storing raw materials and prepared for outdoor grain silos.
– Big Duchman wet feeding system with feeding time control.
Sausages and refreshments will be served from 11:00
Asger Krogsgaard, Vice President of the Danish Agriculture & Food Association, will give the opening speech at 13:00
